A two week holiday in Kenya has left me wanting to go back fo more.....again! There’s something magical about the remote northern coast – within minutes of arriving at Kiwayu Island and Mike’s Camp I felt all the unnecessary stress and strain of the western world simply lift off my shoulders and disappear. Anyone who has visited Syria will say how friendly the people are. They are extremely proud of their country and offer a warm welcome to foreign visitors. After visiting the dramatic Crusader castle of Saladin I was invited to sit with my driver and his friends for a cup of tea. A Trip to Senegal
We arrived at Toubakouta in Senegal not knowing what to expect and were delighted with what we found. Les Paletuviers is a delightful small hotel overlooking the mangroves. We arrived in the dark rather weary from our travels but were met with a very warm welcome and a cold Mojito.
